Press Note of 46th State Art Exhibition 2021-22 Inauguration

Press Note of cancellation of Drama on 2nd & 3rd February 2022

Kala Academy Goa has invited entries for 47^th  Tiatr competition in A  group and 7^th Tiatr competition in  B Group . The eligible institutions for the 47^th   Tiatr ‘A’ Group Competition (2021-22) namely, Machi Mogi Morjim Cultural Sanskrutik Saunstha, Morjim; Novim Pavlam- Novo Uzvadd Dramatic Troupe, Shiroda; Kala Mogi, Candolim; Aamar P. Sawanth Fan Club, Varca; St. Dominic Dramatic Troupe, Merces; Taleigao Dramatic Troupe, Taleigao; Sao Bortolomeu Sports Club and Cultural Association, Chorao; Ami Daizi, Fatorda; Britona Dramatic Academy, Britona; Menino Jesus Kala Association, Chinchinim; Matias Creative Group, Calangute; Machi Mogi, Santa Cruz; Drishti Entertainments, Curchorem, Goa Velha Art and Cultural Association, Goa Velha.

 Apart from these  14  eligible groups, other interested  groups can  submit their  entry in  “ B” Group Tiatr competiton .

 The last date for submission of entries in the prescribed format  for both the categories  so as to reach Kala Academy is  latest by   31^st   January 2022 before 4.00 p.m.

The Competition will be held in the month of March 2022. Copy of revised rules and regulations along with entry forms will be available in the Programme & Development Section of Kala Academy, Adilshah Palace, Old Secretariate,Panaji,Goa  during office hours w.e.f  24^th January 2022. The entries will be accepted from 10.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m and from 2.00 p.m to 4.00 p.m excluding holidays.  The participating institutions will have to compulsorily attach registration/renewal certificate as the case may be, along with the entry form as required under rules of Societies Registration Act, Sub Section (2) of Section 3 B of the Act 1860 (Central Act, 21 of 1860).  All the  institutions may, therefore, take note of the same to avoid last minute inconvenience for submission of their entries.

The duly filled in entry forms along with the cash remittance of entry fee of Rs. 500/- and security deposit of Rs. 5,000/- will be accepted latest by 4.00 p.m. till the stipulated last date for receipt of entries. Only those institutions withdrawing within the stipulated 5 days will be eligible for refund of their Security Deposit.    The draw to decide sequence of performance by lots  of both the categories will be taken on          31^st January 2022  at 5.00 p.m. at the First Floor of ‘Adil Shah Palace’, Old Secretariat, Panaji.

Kala Academy reserves the right to accept  or reject the entries of any institutions  for the competition provided they are not befitting in the rules & regulations of the competition.

 All the interested groups to participate in both the categories i.e. “A” and “B” Group  are required to take note and accordingly submit their entry forms latest by 31^st January 2022 before 4.00 p.m.

The 46^th State Art Exhibition of Kala Academy in the Artist Category will be held between 8^th to 13^th February 2022 at the Art Gallery, Sanskruti Bhavan, Directorate of Art and Culture, Patto-Panaji. Entry forms along with the rules and regulations will be available at the Kala Academy’s office at Adilshah Palace, (Old Secretariat) Panaji from 27^th January 2022.

The entries along with the exhibits will be accepted on 1^st and 2^nd February 2022 between 10:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m and 2.00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. in the Art Gallery, Sanskruti Bhavan, Directorate of Art and Culture, Patto-Panaji.
