Kala Academy Goa in joint collaboration with Tiatr Academy Goa and Institute Menezes Braganza organizes Tiatr Day Celebration on Monday, 17th April 2023 from 4.00 p.m onwards at the Main Auditorium, Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji.

Shri Govind Gaude, Hon’ble Minister for Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa and Hon’ble Chairman of Kala Academy will be the Chief Guest for the function. Shri. Socorro Fernandes, Vice President, Tiatr Academy Goa will be on the dais.

Tiatr Day function will be held at 4.00 p.m in which there will be felicitation of 5 senior Goan tiatr artistes namely Antonio Xavier Fernandes (Writer, Director, Actor, Singer), Menino Fernandes alias Menino De Bandar (Actor, Director, Writer), Joao Batista Lucas D’Souza (Writer, Actor), Manuel Francisco Fernandes (Actor, Director) and Many Crista Fernandes (Actor) at the hands of the Chief Guest for their outstanding contribution in the field of tiatr.

The felicitation function will be followed by the Prize Distribution of Tiatr ‘A’ Group Competition 2022-23 at the hands of dignitaries.

Kala Academy has appealed the Tiatr lovers to attend the aforesaid function in large numbers.

The results of the 48th Tiatr ‘A’ Group Competition organised by Kala Academy Goa have been declared in different Categories. A Total of 15 Institutions participated in competition and staged their Tiatrs. The judges of the competition were Fr. Olavo Caiado, Shri. Avito Amanacio Fernandes and Shri. Anil Pednekar. The Lyrics and Script were judged by Jose Salvador Fernandes.

Kala Academy has congratulated all the prize winners. The prize distribution of this competition will be declared at a later stage.

Kala Academy Goa is organising its Prize Distribution Function of 47 th Konkani
Drama Competition on the occasion of World Theatre Day on Monday, 27 th March
2023 at 4.00 p.m at Multipurpose Hall, Directorate of Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa,
Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto-Panaji.

Shri. Govind Gaude, Hon’ble Minister for Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa and Chairman
of Kala Academy Goa will grace the function as Chief Guest and give away the
prizes to the winners.

Kala Academy has appealed to all the prize winners and all the participants of the
Competition and general public to attend the said function in large numbers. The
Directorate of Art & Culture, Patto-Panaji has extended support for this function. The
Programme is open to all.

Kala Academy Goa is organizing the 47^th  State Art Exhibition in Students Category from 21^st to 26^th March 2023 at the Art Gallery of Directorate of Art & Culture, Patto-Panaji.

The exhibition will be inaugurated at  the hands of Shri. Govind Gaude, Hon’ble Minster for Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa and Chairman of  Kala Academy Goa on 21^st March 2023 at 4.00 p.m at Art Gallery, Directorate of Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto-Panaji followed by the prize distribution function.

The exhibition will be on view for public 22^nd to 26^th March 2023 at  Art Gallery of Directorate of Art & Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto-Panaji from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m excluding lunch break from 1.00 p.m to 2.00 p.m on the above stated days of the exhibition.

Kala Academy has appealed to all the participants, fine artists and art lovers to witness the exhibition, inaugural & prize distribution function  in large numbers.
