Kala Academy Goa is celebrating World Theatre Day on 27th March 2025 at 6.30 p.m at Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Panaji.
Shri. Govind Gaude, Hon’ble Minister, Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa and Chairman of Kala Academy will be the Chief Guest and. Shri. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Secretary, Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa will be the Guest of Honour.
On this occasion, NGO Cultural Diversity for peaceful future, Georgia will stage a play entitled “ Life Of A Clown” by Liberty Theatre on 27th March 2025 at 6.30 p.m at Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Panaji.
On the same day i.e 27th March 2025 between 9.30 a.m to 1.00 noon at Black Box, the Georgian Theatre experts will conduct a workshop. This workshop will provide hands on experience in unique performance techniques, benefiting students and faculty. The workshop will definitely expose to International theatre forms, enriching their artistic perspectives.
Kala Academy appeals Goan theatre lovers to witness this play which is open to all. Theatre Art students and Theatre artists may kindly attend the workshop in order to upgrade their theatrical knowledge concern with abroad theatre.

Press Note- Inviting Entries

The 49th State Art Exhibition of Kala Academy in the Students Category will be held between 13th to 17th March 2025 at the Art Gallery, Kala Academy, Panaji-Goa. Entry forms along with the rules and regulations will be available at the Kala Academy’s office & also on Kala Academy’s Website kalaacademygoa.co.in from 3rd March 2025.
The entries along with the exhibits will be accepted on 10th & 11th March 2025 between 10:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Art Gallery, Kala Academy, Panaji-Goa.
Entries after due date, time and incomplete entries will not be accepted. Kala Academy has appealed to all the interested Goan Artists to submit their entries along with the exhibits within the stipulated period.
