Press Release: Invited Entries for 50th Tiatr Competition in ‘A’ Group

Kala Academy Goa has invited entries for 50th Tiatr Competition in ‘A’ Group. The eligible institutions for the 50h Tiatr ‘A’ Group Competition 2024-25 namely:

The last date for submission of entries in the prescribed format so as to reach Kala Academy is latest by 14th January 2025 before 4.00 p.m.

The competition will be held in the month of March 2025 at D.M. K. M. Panaji,Goa. . Copy of revised rules and regulations along with entry forms will be available in the Programme & Development Section of Kala Academy, Adil Shah Palace, Old Secretariat, Panaji-Goa, during office hours w.e.f 8th January 2025 . The entries will be accepted from 10.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m and from 2.00 p.m to 4.00 p.m excluding holidays. The participating institutions will have to compulsorily attach registration/renewal certificate as the case may be, along with the entry form as required under rules of Societies Registration Act, Sub Section (2) of Section 3 B of the Act 1860 (Central Act, 21 of 1860). All the above institutions may, therefore, take note of the same to avoid last minute inconvenience for submission of their entries.

The duly filled in entry forms along with the cash remittance of entry fee of Rs. 500/- and security deposit of Rs. 5,000/- will be accepted latest by 4.00 p.m. till the stipulated last date for receipt of entries. Only those institutions withdrawing within the stipulated 5 days will be eligible for refund of their Security Deposit. The draw to decide sequence of performance by lots will be taken on 14th January 2025 at 5.00 p.m. at the First Floor of Adil Shah Palace, Old Secretariat, Panaji.

Kala Academy reserves the right to accept or reject the entries of any institutions for the competition provided they are not befitting in the rules and regulations of the competition.

All the participating institutions in Tiatr ‘A’ Group to take note and accordingly submit their entry forms latest by 14th January 2025 ,4.00 p.m.

The results of the One Act Play Competition at Higher Secondary School/College Level organised by Kala Academy Goa in two categories i.e Marathi & Konkani have been declared. The judges of the competition were Shri. Shivpranav Alavani, Smt. Gauri Kamat and Shri. Ishvar Vithoba Naik Kala Academy has congratulated all the prize winners. The prize distribution of this competition will be declared at a later stage.
