As a part of Golden Jubilee Celebration, Kala Academy Goa will present “SHIVGOMANTAK’’ two hour long Marathi Drama based on the epic visit of the great Maratha warrior “Chatrapathi Shivaji & Chatrapathi Sambhaji to evict Portuguese from Goa. Hon’ble Chairperson of Kala Academy & Minister for Art & Culture Shri Govind Gaude in presence of dignitaries & Artist performed Muhurut ritual of the Drama today in Black Box Auditorium. Speaking on the occasion Hon’ble Minister recalled the incident & invoked the memories of “SHIVGOMANTAK’ Drama writer late Shri Vishnu Surya Wagh and made a special mention that the said drama was written by late Shri Wagh in a continues spell of one day & 2 nights without any break.
