Inaguration of 47th State Art Exhibition – Artist Category
FOR FAVOUR OF PUBLICATION
The 47th State Art exhibition in Artist Category will be inaugurated at the hands of Shri. Premendra Shet, Hon’ble Chairman, Goa State Horticultural Corporation Ltd. and M.L.A, Maem Constituency on 9th January 2023 at 4.00 p.m at the Art Gallery, Directorate of Art & Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto-Panaji.
Mrs. Yolanda De Sousa (Calangute-Goa), Shri. Justin Lobo (Taleigao-Goa)and Shri. Ompraksah Naik (Ribandar-Goa) were on the panel of jury for this exhibition of competitive nature.
Altogether, 143 works were received in all the three sections i.e Painting and Graphic Print Section, Applied Art and Graphic Design Section and Sculpture section, out of which 88 exhibits are selected for display.
This exhibition will be on view for public from 9th to 15th January 2023 between 10.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.

The last date for the acceptance of admission forms for the Kala Academy Music Centres at Sankhalim, Valpoi, Pernem, Canacona, Sanguem & Quepem (Indian Music) as well as for Kala Academy’s Department of Western Music is further extended till 23rd December 2022 (Friday), till 5.00 pm. No applications will be accepted after this date and time.
The students will be admitted purely on availability of seats.
