Kala Academy Goa is organising Western Music Concert on the occasion of Republic Day Celebration on 26^th January 2023 at 3.30 p.m at Adil Shah Palace(Old Secretariat), Panaji-Goa.

The programme will be consisting of Choral Piece – Jai Hind, Piano Solo, Violin Solo, Voice Solo, Patriotic Songs, Violin duet, Guitar Solo and Cello Solo. The programme will be staged by Department of Western Music of Kala Academy.

Kala Academy Goa has appealed all the music lovers to attend the programme which is open to all.

The  47^th State Art exhibition in Artist Category  will be inaugurated at the hands of Shri. Premendra Shet, Hon’ble Chairman, Goa State Horticultural Corporation Ltd. and M.L.A, Maem Constituency on 9^th January 2023 at 4.00 p.m at the Art Gallery, Directorate of Art & Culture, Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto-Panaji.

Mrs. Yolanda De Sousa (Calangute-Goa),  Shri. Justin Lobo (Taleigao-Goa)and  Shri. Ompraksah Naik (Ribandar-Goa) were on the panel of jury for this exhibition of competitive nature.

Altogether, 143 works were received in all the three sections i.e Painting and Graphic Print Section, Applied Art and Graphic Design Section and Sculpture section, out of which 88 exhibits are selected for display.

This exhibition will be on view for public from 9^th to 15^th January 2023 between 10.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.
