Results of the 55th Marathi Drama Competition 2024-25 ‘B’ Group

The Kala Academy Goa invites applications from candidates wishing to learn music for enrolment in Classical Guitar, Pianoforte, Electronic Keyboard, Cello, Violin and Solo Singing in the Department of Western Music.
The minimum age limit for fresh candidates to seek admission is 7 years (as on 31st December 2024) and the maximum age limit is 10 years. The interested candidates may collect the Prospectus from the cash counter at the office of Kala Academy Goa (Adil Shah premises, Old Secretariat, Panaji) from 25th Nov. to 16th Dec., 2024, on working days (Monday to Friday) between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m & 2.00 p.m and 4.00 p.m. The last date for submitting the applications, duly filled in, along with the copy of the birth certificate is 16th Dec., 2024 (Monday) by 5.00 p.m. latest. No applications will be received after the stipulated date and time i.e. 16th Dec., 2024 after 5.00 p.m. The candidates will be admitted after they appear for the interview and strictly as per the availability of vacant seats.
IN FAVOUR OF PUBLICATION
The One Act Play Competition at High School and Higher Secondary/ College Level organized by Kala Academy Goa will commence in the month of December 2024.. The last date to accept the entries in the prescribed format has been extended to 7th November 2024 latest by 4.00 p.m.
The participating institutions will have to pay Rs. 100/- as an entry fee with duly filled in entries in the prescribed format will only be accepted. The amount shall be accepted in cash during office hours between 10.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m and 2.00 p.m to 4.00 p.m in the accounts section of Kala Academy Goa.
All the entries should bear official seal duly signed by the Principal of the High School, Higher Secondary and College.
All the High Schools, Higher Secondary Schools/Colleges desirous of participating in the said competition may submit their entries on or before 7th November 2024. The entry forms are available free of charge at the reception counter of Kala Academy at Old Secretariat(Adil Shah Palace), Panaji during office hours on working days.

Kala Academy Goa will celebrate Marathi Rangbhoomi Din on 5th November 2024 at 7.00 p.m at Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Panaji.
Shri. Govind Gaude, Hon’ble Minister for Art &Culture, Govt of Goa and Chairman of Kala Academy will be the Chief Guest.
On this occasion, Abhinay Kalyan, Mumbai will stage a play entitled “Krishnavivar” written by Shri. Datta Patil and Directed by well known Director from experimental theatre Shri. Abhijit Zunzarrao. Ms. Manali Rajashree and Shri. Yogesh Khandekar will be performing in the play. This drama is very much acclaimed by the theatre lovers from Mumbai and surroundings.
Kala Academy appeals Goan theatre lovers to witness this play which is open to all.
