Kala Academy Goa has declared the result of 49th State Art Exhibition (Artist Category). Accordingly, in the Painting and Graphic Print Section – Aniket Navanand Kuncolikar, Shailesh V. Dabholkar & Omkar Sagun N. Banaule, Applied Art and Graphic Design Section Rajaram S. Naik, Vikram Hoshing & Shriyash Shivprasad Kanekar whereas in Sculpture section Shubham Laxmikant Naik, Pandurang Anand Naik and Bhisaji Gadekar has been selected for the award of Rs. 20,000 /- each.
Dr. Subodh Kerkar, Smt. Maria Farreira & Shri. Tanaji Shet were on the panel of jury for this exhibition of competitive nature.
Altogether, 186 works were received in all the three sections, out of which 128 exhibits are selected for display. The exhibition will be inaugurated at the hands of Shri Govind Gaude, Hon’ble Minister for Art & Culture, Govt of Goa & Chairman of Kala Academy Goa on 8th February 2025 at 4.30 p.m at the Art Gallery, Kala Academy, Panaji.
This exhibition will be on view for public till 12th February 2025 between 10.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.
Kala Academy has congratulated all the prize winners. The prize distribution of this competition will be held at later stage. All are requested to make a note of the same and attend the inaugural function in large number.
